Mission Statement The Grand Experiment is a 501 (c) 3 Public Charity committed to helping people who are taking steps to recover from the disease of addiction to alcohol or drugs. We are dedicated to helping these people focus on accelerating a positive self-image, self-sufficiency, and reintegration into the community. Our mission is to provide Housing, Dental, Vision, and Medical referrals, Employment referrals and counseling, distribution of furniture and household goods as well as operate a Resource Center to funnel these services to people living throughout the recovery/homeless community of Lake County, Illinois, Southeastern Wisconsin, the City of Chicago, and the surrounding area. | We at The Grand Experiment Charities want to also express our appreciation for the Community we live in and have our business located in. We are fortunate to be able to serve the Village of Beach Park, Illinois in community involvement and future growth and enterprise. We have been located here for 2 years and have had a wonderful experience so far. Our neighbors have become accepting of who we are and what we are trying to accomplish in helping others in need and the Village Administration has been gracious and supportive. We cannot express how important this community has been in helping us develop as an organization and would say to anyone who is interested in becoming a village resident or open a business here that from our experience we would support a decision to move here 100%. |
