Our ongoing programs were developed to provide support to
individuals and social service organizations on many levels.
Some examples of The Grand Experiment Charities' ongoing
programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Distribution of Personal Hygiene Supplies to The Staben
House and WRS of Lake County.
  • Housing and Counseling referrals to individuals for both
recovery from alcoholism/drug addiction and victims of
    domestic violence.
  • Providing many levels of support to address the
    individual needs of the indigent.
  • Distribution of Food and Sundries.

Future programs we would like to develop at  The Grand
Experiment Charities, but due to limited budget for lack of
funds and limited facilities are:

  • Distribution of free recovery literature to anyone in
    treatment for alcoholism/drug addiction.
  • Free secure storage for personal belongings for those in
    extended treatment programs.
  • Transportation to and from work, aftercare, or
    outpatient programs.
  • Homeless outreach services.
  • Publish a library of Lake County Services to distribute to
    the homeless and recovery communities.
  • Medical and dental referral service for low cost office
    visits.

To be able to continue our ongoing programs and implement
our plans for our new programs, major contribution partners
would impact the achieving of these goals by:

  • Offering rights to vacant spaces for secure storage.
  • Offering the donation of a suitable building for TGECI
    offices/library/public internet access.
  • Offering of an endowment for the continuing purchase
    of recovery literature.
  • Offering of used or new passenger vans to provide
    transportation services.
  • Offering of used or new truck for pick-up and
    distribution of donated goods.
  • Offering of no/low cost office hours per week for
medical, dental and counseling services by those in the
    medical, dental, and psychology professions.
